About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Experiencing different cultures by immersing ourselves into them
ABOUT ME
We are two young college students looking to travel and gain the best experiences from it. We love meeting new people and are easy to get along with. Artsy and fun-loving, willing to go on adventures and explore the world. Our past couch surfing experiences were the greatest! We enjoyed meeting fellow travelers and learning from them!
We have just recently started a Fibers business on Etsy, selling hand made goods! We make items that are hand-woven, hand-knitted, hand-spun, and/or hand-dyed.

We enjoy making/creating all of the items that we have online and hope that everyone can enjoy them as well!
PHILOSOPHY
Live, Laugh, Love. Keep on moving forward and learning every day. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We hope to host fellow couch surfers someday. We currently can no though unfortunately due to living in dorms on college campus.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far we have couch surfed twice now. Our first hostess had discussions about politics and organic items with us. She was like a mother to us while we were there. She came back from work with a list of places she thought would interest us specifically. Our second hostess taught us a little French and the history of Montreal! We learned so much while we were with her, and it was wonderful!
Interests
We are professional recyclers, we recycle cans to save up for our travel fund. We enjoy knitting and crocheting, as well as other miscellaneous activities. Fibers majors and Fibers nerds. Haha :)

Music, Movies, and Books
We like all types of music and are very eclectic. Reading is a hobby that we do enjoy when we have the opportunity to.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Emily: Mine was when I recently went to Grandfather Mountain in N.C., U.S. climbing to the top of the rocks and seeing all around the beautiful tree tops and so much more was the greatest experience as well as crossing the mile high swinging bridge to get there :)
Rebecca:One of the most amazing things that I have seen is when I was traveling in New Zealand and I walked up a very steep hill by a bay and at the top of the hill I was able to see the open ocean on one side of me, the bay on the other and the most beautiful hills and valleys as far as the eye could see!
Teach, Learn, Share
We know and are willing to teach how to knit and crochet, as well as how to spin your own yarn if you have the materials! :) We are willing to learn anything new, as knowledge is power and we love to be less native everyday we live.
