I'm currently studying French in Caen, France. I love couch surfing because it's so much more exciting and wonderful to meet and stay with locals.

I'm an introvert who loves to curl up with my cross stitching and just sew away for hours. However, I also love to travel and meet people and learn about how they ended up where they are. Finding out just how our paths met is amazing to me, and I hope that I can continue broadening my web of connections and stories with more traveling!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel, but being a college student I don't have much money. Also, I want to meet locals and experience some of what they love about their home. I want to absorb as much culture as possible while I'm traveling too!

Interests

I love to sew (from cross stitching to sewing dresses and quilts!), scrapbook, knit, and craft. I'm deeply in love with tiny houses and micro living (I've even designed my dream tiny house!). As soon as I graduate and start paying off my huge debt, I'll build my tiny house so that I might not affect the environment too much and also have spare money to continue my travels!

Music, Movies, and Books

I adore Ingrid Michaelson, Imogen Heap, Regina Spektor, and Alanis Morissette! I'm also a huge fan of Disney movies and their soundtracks. But my favourite movie of all time would have to be Serenity (of course the series Firefly doubles with that), and my second favourite TV series is the X-Files.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a summer in Europe, studying French in France, and then backpacking. I met so many wonderful people and made so many memories. I'd like the opportunity to help make other people's travels wonderful too now!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share little stories from my life and postcards from Maine. I can definitely share a bunch of smiles! I can also cook you a meal either French or American.
