About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Cram as much Europe into my life as possible before returning home.

ABOUT ME

I love to travel and meet people of different cultures. I enjoy coffee, wine, film, literature, music, museums, chatting, and connecting with people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As of now I only participate in surfing... My cat doesn't like others, sadly.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We stayed with Diego in Assisi and had a lovely time. We had the opportunity of making for him a traditional Tex-Mex meal. We had many laughs and much fun.

We stayed with Alessandra in Pisa. Again, a wonderful experience. There were also 2 German guys there while we were. We all shared a meal on her balcony and a beautiful time in the city.

Gorka in Paris

Philippe in Nice- a beautiful experience. We met his family and went cliff diving

Lauren and Krystal in Barcelona were kind enough to let us share their home, even when they were on holiday!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One experience that immediately jumps to mind: When living in Rome, Carly and I made friends with a local-- Florian. One day he told us to meet him in a part of the city we'd never been before. It turns out he had planned a special (and incredibly difficult) hike for us. Along the way, when we were all grasping for air, Florian said something so profound, and yet so simple. He said in his broken English, "I know it hurts, but beautiful things require sacrifice." It touched my soul. By the way, the hike was completely worth it; it became, and remains, the most beautiful view of Rome I had seen.
