About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see as much as I can before reality returns.

ABOUT ME

I AM! A total book nerd and movie fiend. I am studying Children's Lit for my MA and am using the opportunity to travel around a bit while I am in the UK. I love good music and new tunes. I am a self proclaimed photographer, chocolate fiend and baker (which will work way better when I figure out my British oven..)

PHILOSOPHY

Successful people have libraries.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I aim to check out some meet-ups while I am studying in London and see what it's all about.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have yet to couchsurf but I think it's a great idea and I'm excited to give it a try. I have a friend who is an avid couchsurfer. I love to hear her tales.

Interests

I love love to read. Although lately that's been a lot less fun stuff than I would like. I am keen on YA/children's lit (since that's my course of study) but I'm up to reading almost anything. I am also a writer. Generally short stories, retellings.
I like movies, hanging out with friends, nights reading with a mug of tea/hot chocolate. I like to roam on my own and see the world outside of myself.

I really like photography and I think I have a knack for it. It's been great living in such beautiful places. Landscapes and buildings. That's my thing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love meeting new people and sharing experiences. I've learned more of the world outside myself and have grown because of it.
I think we can learn from almost anyone. Even a bad experience can teach you about yourself, others, and how you handle different situations. (I've worked lots of retail/customer service)
