This is where I'm supposed to tell the world how straightforward, easy-going and down-to-earth I am, right? Well, I'm not going to.

Not that I'm not those things, mind you! Just that, like everybody else, I do have my quirks. I love traveling and meeting people from around the world, getting to know and try new things -- who on Couchsurfing doesn't? -- But I also love quiet. I enjoy immensely being on my own, be it reading a book, researching some obscure computing topic or processing pictures. There's just a time for everything :)

I'm a freelance web developer and I usually work from home. Given my insanely varying work load I'm not always willing to host. That's why I'm listed as "Maybe Accepting Guests". Feel free to ask!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just love the very idea behind Couchsurfing. I haven't hosted much, but it was always interesting. And it made my trips so much better. It's pure win-win.

Interests

Fiction in all of its forms (cinema, books, TV shows). Science. Sci-fi (the illegitimate child of the former), of course! Music, writing, traveling, cooking, photography, taking a ride on mi Kawasaki... if my spare helmet fits your head and you're up for it, there's a motorbike tour of the city waiting for you ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I watched a total solar eclipse with my naked eyes for a whole minute. It was in Austria, Aug 11th, 1999. I later learned that the naked eyes part wasn't very wise, but luckily there were no side effects .
