About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Have as much fun as I can take and learn!
ABOUT ME
In a decade-long, working hibernation, now finding myself terminally travel-bug-bitten.
Originally from Eastern Europe, grew up between two countries and am now a fully certified citizen of the world, claiming no specific affinity to any single culture. Working for the past decade as a professional Graphic Designer mainly in print, I'm curious, open and eager to learn and to experience whatever interesting things the world has to offer.
I'm generally up for anything and am looking forward to collect more stamps in my passport. I love learning new things and am always up for a friendly chat. I prefer experiencing new places from a local's point of view, hence I love to couchsurf with like-minded, friendly natives.
Sincere to a fault, you can ask me anything, just be prepared for brutal honesty. I am a veritable font of useless trivia, which is hopefully at least marginally entertaining.
While I prefer chatting with friends to large crowds, I do have a yen for the nightlife when the inspiration takes me. I pass judgement on no-one and appreciate honesty, openness, consideration and tolerance in kind.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is for living, yeah, that's my philosophy!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Alas for the moment, being an itinerant with no fixed address, I can only offer my meagre wit and patchy knowledge. I contribute by sleeping on people's couches and driving them to distraction. Once properly housed however, I intend offering my future couch to all and sundry!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Seasoned couchsurfer outside CS Project, years of experience. Finally getting qualified.
Interests
Anything interesting. Among others: travel, meeting new people, learning about new cultures, hobby anthropology and philosophy, reading, anything graphic design and technology related, meeting kindred spirits and such.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Nikita, Gattaca, The Thing, Fight Club, Jin-Roh.
Music: an eclectic mix, topmost of which are alternative and anything with a beat I can dance or care to.
Books: anything design related, anything by Peter F. Hamilton, David Gemmel and Michael Marshall Smith.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Survived puberty.
Hopefully more exciting things to come in the not-so-distant future.
I have survived my first week on The Playa: a cynic no more!
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach Graphic Design theory and skills as well as the use of related, necessary software in my spare time. I am also at times accused of quoting Wikipedia and reciting obscure trivia.
