About Me

***IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ "MY HOME" PART BEFORE SENDING STAY REQUEST***

FRIENDSHIP is born at that moment when one person says to another: 'What! You too? I thought I was the only one."
Travel mean "GO TO THE FUTURE" & "DISCOVER CULTURE BY FOOD" and that is my PASSION.

"A lot of people go through life without experiencing it, we are all taught to follow a certain path in life, you know, get good mark, go to university, get a job, raise a family, and that's life, right ? But what would happen if we left everything to create your own way?" Piano Around The World https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHvVsameREw

After 6 years working as an IT guy in Global Company, I decided to quit my job in 2016, back to my hometown, then started my own business to challenge and improve myself.

I am a business man who is in love with fishing and I am traveling around the world with a mission: looking for my next business ideas.

I used to travel with my friends, but now all of them got married. Every time I asked them to travel with me.
They answered:"I am busy with wife and kids, can you wait me?"
"What ?_? How long ?_? 18 years later ?_?".
I met some wonderful solo travelers through CouchSurfing and they encouraged me to step out of my “comfort-zone”. That is my story how I became a solo traveler :).

***UPDATED: JUN 2019
After 2 years solo traveling. Finally, I found my travel soulmate. From now on, We become a couple traveler ^^
***
Full-time job: a husband and a dad.
Part-time job: Real Estate investor and English teacher.

I was born and raised in the urban area but I really love agriculture life. I have a small backyard with some ducks, vegetables and a dog :).
I am living in Thu Dau Mot city, Binh Duong province (25km away from Ho Chi Minh city). I usually go to Ho Chi Minh city to hang out with CS friends. I have a private room to host CouchSurfing friends.

In my opinion, CouchSurfing means more than just to stay somewhere without paying money – it’s about CREATING memories, SHARING experiences and MAKE FRIEND with local people. So If you come, you won´t come as a guest, you will come as a friend. So lets spend time to hang out and talk together.
Send me a message and discuss how can I help you.
LET'S SHARE TO BE SHARED.

Come as a guest,
Stay as a friend,
Leave as a family.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1/ Blood Donation yearly since 2014.

2/ Helped a friend to train Self-Discipline. Now she can wake up at 5:30 AM and go to gym.

3/ I have practiced Personal Financial Management with 6 envelops since 2012. Upgraded to Family Financial Management. Learning Small Business Financial Management.

4/ Can't forget the day that I submitted Resignation Letter to my boss after 6 years working.

5/ I had my 1st solo trip to Taiwan, I stayed with local people by using Couchsurfing instead of hostel for the 1st time in my life. I missed my return flight and had to sleep at the airport to wait for next flight. But It was great experiences 😁. This trip proved that there are still a lot of good people out there that willing to help and share their home with you. This is the reason why I decided to open my home and welcome CSers.

6/ I hosted Delphine - my 1st guest from Toulouse, France - for the 1st time on 4 days during TET holiday in February. I picked up her at the airport, my family welcomed her. My mom was so excited to prepare Ao Dai (Vietnamese traditional dress) for her and gave her lucky money. Then in August, I had a Europe trip and I stayed at her house for 4 days. It was such wonderful experiences.

7/ I had a Europe trip for the 1st time in my life to celebrate my birthday month. I visited 4 countries, 12 cities and made a lot of new friends.
