About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To soak up as much of the world as possible. Embrace new cultures, new friends, and new experiences. Travel without any expectations or goals, just living life as it comes naturally while moving around the globe.

ABOUT ME

The simple slow happy life is the one for me. I was a chef for some time, but gave that up and started traveling. A few months abroad and I was hooked! After years of work and planning, I have finally shaped my life to give me the freedom to travel extensively around the globe. I sold or gave away almost everything I owned in hopes of becoming truly free, and now I am set on wandering the world endlessly, finding new homes. I love new cultures and people, love the ocean and anything aquatic. I've been a surfer all my life, and it is my deepest passion!
Edit... Back home, working as a chef again, lasted a little over a year abroad, the dream is over... until the next trip that is. :)

PHILOSOPHY

Relax man!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've meet up with other CSers traveling and have always had the best experiences. I've been hosted by some amazing people, and I've never had a bad CS experience. Now I've returned home and am able to host others and keep the CS spirit alive.

Interests

The ocean, wildlife and animals (I love them more than humans I think), nature, traveling... learning new places, new cultures, new people... foods from around the world (another of my passions), happy people, living healthy.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love movies, a good evening to me is a nice film with some nice company. Music... who doesn't like music! Books, I like the small light one that are easy to travel with.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't even know where to start. I would say the act of giving up my normal life in the United States, selling everything I owned, quitting my job, and dedicating my life to one of traveling.

Also, I cuddled with a full grown tiger in Thailand, that was cool.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belize, Cambodia, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Philippines, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In
