About Me

I forgot I had a couch surfing account until recently because I never once used it. For my traveling before, I've stayed at a combo of bnbs, hotels, hostels, inns, and homes of friends. Now in 2023 (almost), I'm eager to finally complete the circle and revel in the couch surfin' mysteries.

My story begins in a small town on the northeast fringe of Los Angeles. It wasn't until my mid-twenties I turned mild adventurist, leaving my westcoast bubble behind. I taught English in Madrid for 9 months and in that time had my fill of getting to know Spain along Western and Central Europe.

Flash forward five years. I'm now roam New Mexico. While there are many things that I'm fond of my home country, it is not big enough to confine my want for greater possibilities.

Personality-wise, I'm shy at first, but open up the more we talk. I try to be respectful as I can, so there will no misunderstandings. I like to make people feel at home or if mine, as if it were theirs.

I keep clean, don't drink, don't smoke, and don't judge those that do.

My Spanish is decent. I dabble in Portuguese and Italian. French, though I once studied it, was too difficult to master. Catalan is my current challenge.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I shared a cabin with a Woodstock-seasoned hippy in the Santa Monica mountains. There he taught me the fundamentals of construction and a wackier way of looking at the world.
