ABOUT ME

We are a couple from Queensland, Australia. We decided in 2011 we wanted to travel the world together. Since then we worked hard, saved money and had an epic RTW trip of 8 months :) We returned in 2013 to Australia to work, spend time with family, friends and dogs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have been on both sides - hosting and been hosted. Together we've hosted many travellers passing through Maryborough wanting to see the sights and visit Fraser Island.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met heaps of people travelling in 2005 that we will be staying with again this time as friends not a stranger turning up to stay a few nights.

Even though some people that have stayed are only on Couch Surfing for free accommodation we still find it a pleasure to have people stay and share with us their culture and stories.

When travelling there is no point in staying at a hostel when you can stay with locals and experience the culture to a greater extent.

We will only Host you if you have hosted poeple before. Or if we Feel your not just useing the site for free accomadation, free food and free transport.

From been a Ranger I've seen some of the top places in Australia. endless beaches, caves, water falls, forests.
Plitvice Lakes National park in Croatia.
Seven wells waterfalls in Malaysia.
Elephant world in Thailand...Just to name a few.
