To help travelers as much as I can until I am able to travel this world myself

ABOUT ME

I'm a quiet person who longs to travel and see the world. I am concentrating on my career with the National Park Service which has halted any dreams and aspirations of traveling. I've been fortunate enough to have live and work in some amazing places with my job and I hope to live and work in many more. I enjoy being outdoors, camping, hiking, fishing and etc. But I really also enjoy staying inside with a good book, a movie or just relaxing listening to music. I am somewhat vegan (I enjoy occasionally eating fish but thats it) and am enjoying learning how to cook.

PHILOSOPHY

I live everyday to be a strong and loving granddaughter, daughter, sister, auntie, and best friend to the people I love most in this world because they are the people responsible for making me the person I am today and I am forever grateful to them. I try hard to live day by day and not dwell on the past or worry about the future. I try to do good things for strangers I meet. I work everyday to better myself not only just for today but for the lives to come.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love being able to meet people and help out travelers on their journey in what ever way I can. I have come to find that couch surfing is a wonderful community filled with people with great spirits, and stories to share.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As of right now I've only been a couch surfing host. To be able to help people out on their travels and meet great people from all over the world is just the best and I've been lucky to have some great guests so far who I now consider friends.

Interests

I love music, books, dance, nature, hanging out with my dog Lucy, environmental education, photography, writing, buddhism, meeting people from different cultures, vegan cooking, and enjoying good conversation over a cup of coffee or a good pint of brew.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies and currently have myself a nice collection. I will sit and watch pretty much anything but enjoy old movies and flicks from the '80's. My love for music is all about the '60's. I love the Beatles, The Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Simon and Garfunkel, and many '60's folk artists. Current artists: Phish, John Butler, Dave Matthews, Ben Harper, Xavier Rudd and Tori Amos. Can't get enough of: Talking Heads, Led Zepplin, Miles Davis, and Joni Mitchell. I think that is enough for now. I could go on and on.
