ABOUT ME

I am passionate, adventurous, love trying new things and seeing new places, and care deeply for those I bring into my life. I will soon be going into a PhD program in Fire Science at UC Berkeley, but in this year between am working at a regional park just behind Berkeley taking care of farm animals, putting on educational programs for the public, and clearing trails and culverts. I also work in the fire science lab at Cal dating fire scars on ancient trees and studying tree growth. In the evenings I have developed a love of circus skills so I take classes such as trapeze and rope and tissue. I have the most amazing boyfriend anyone could hope for with whom I love spending time and sharing adventures.

PHILOSOPHY

Being the best person I can be, always challenging myself to be better. Enjoying every moment, learning all that I can, and loving those around me the best I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed in Malta and the first week I moved to Berkeley - both marvelous experiences. I have hosted a couple couchsurfers in my home for up to 2 weeks in one instance and have always found their stories very inspiring. I have also met couchsurfers for coffee and lunch to chat and give them some guidance as to what they can find in the area.

Interests

I am very adventurous. I love circus and dancing (ballroom, ballet on pointe, jazz, salsa... just dancing in general really), singing, cliff jumping, riding motorcycles (be it dirtbike or street bike) or horses, rock climbing, scuba diving, camping, hiking, cave spelunking, waterfalls, exploring, eating foreign food, doing yoga, and photography.

Music: I listen to EVERTHING that's good... and I know alot of people say that, but for me it's really true; I really like country music but then again I listen to about as much of everything else...
