Overview
About Me
I am a graduate student in biology at the University of Chicago. I'm invested in community living and have lived in a co-op for about 3 years! Everyone in the community is vegetarian, and we're committed to communal labor and democratic governance. I love the chance to live and learn with new people, all from the comfort of my home.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet new people who love to travel. I love to see new ways of living and engage with locals in their way of life. Meeting people wherever I go is the only way I know to experience a place.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spend 6 months living in a monastery. Experiencing life and learning about myself as separate from my career and work productivity was so amazing and I'm still in search of a sustainable way of living like this.
I want to find more ways to learn and share with others that don't involve monetary exchange. Couchsurfing is one of those opportunities, I think.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to cook and can help with cleaning, too!
