I'm a Filipino biochemist and writer. I don't really travel for "fun". What I want to do when I travel is take less pictures and take more notes. I'm obsessed with knowing everything about certain places, be it their history, folklore, politics, and etc..

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Back in 2009, I decided to travel around Southeast Asia for no apparent reason. At that time, I only had a low-end phone that couldn't even connect to the internet. That meant that I had to travel without consulting the internet for most of the time. I spent around three months doing my research in the library and internet cafes to chart out my trip. I filled one notebook with instructions and maps. I printed out phrases that I could use in each country. And when the time came, there was nothing else to do but move forward. I spent three weeks traveling in Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, and Myanmar. It was tiresome but memorable. Would probably do it again in 2019 to celebrate its tenth year anniversary. :D
