Hello world. :) I am a 27-year old from Zrenjanin, Serbia, loving adventure and traveling, mostly bicycle touring, but really travel of any kind, and for now, short range mostly, but wonderful non the less. :) I love to write, mostly in English, am sort of a poet :D, have a great passion for bicycles, and trains, but mostly I like to travel using my own power. I love music, art, nature, as my favorite quote from my favorite movie, by my favorite actor would say it all: "Poetry, beauty, romance, love... these are what we are alive for."
I would only add travel and adventure to the list. :) Happy travels and always be good. ^_^

I have to state this, I was born with a speech disorder that involves physical tics to occur occasionally, so I am not the most fluent speaker, although I love talking, and language in general. Even more because of my physical restrictions I guess. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it only adds to the adventure to be connected with more native people, and share experiences,and resources with them. This seems so practical and people should always help one another, it is a matter of principle. :) I would always rather spend time and money on food and drinks and fun activities with people anyway.

Unfortunately, I don't have room in my home to share, but I would certainly be more than a grateful and generous guest, if I am hosted on some of my journeys. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a very wide specter of music, but mostly it is rock, metal, punk-rock, and alternative, such a broad palette of artists, bands, sounds... :)
Favorite bands now though are Poets of the Fall, Moonspell, Glen Hansard, Covek Bez Sluha, Arkona, and many more.
Also movies, but I prefer epic fantasy and sci-fi genres, also good romance and comedy is always acceptable. :) Really, anything that is quality, or just to my liking.
But my favorite movie is Dead Poets Society, with Robin Williams, hands down. Closely following are Once (2007), The Man from Earth (2007), and of course the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I'll stop there. :D
Books are the widest subject of them all, which is why I'll be briefest here. :D I adore reading all kinds of poetry, novels, but lately Carlos Ruiz Zafon and Shadow of the Wind series have been my favorite books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Oh wow. Well, I have been on a great journey some time ago with a Serbian spiritual music choir throughout Europe, discovering many magnificent places and ending the journey with amazing visit to Barcelona, one of my favorite cities, and havign a huge concert in Palau de la Musica, a fantastic venue on the stage of which stood so many famous artists, and for me the most meaningful Richard Strauss. So in my mind, I kind of shared the stage with one of my favorite composers, even if the place changed over time. :)

And also riding my bicycle across Pannonia, Hungary, Romania and northern Serbia.

I love learning and sharing my knowledge about anything interesting and worthy really, languages, technical knowledge, psychology, activism, art, one never stops learning. :)
