About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Quench my travelling need.

ABOUT ME

Hello! ^^
I'm Ran, Not too long ago I made the unorthodox decision of taking a whole year break of uni. studies for sole sake of travelling. I have been travelling since July in Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Nepal, India and a mere glimpse of china. I intend to continue travelling until September when I will have to return home for the continuation of my degree.

Do I regret it? not the slightest bit! I learned so much, met amazing people, trekked, enjoyed, rested and just experienced life in a very different way. I would definitely say this year will be (as it hasn't ended yet) a rite of passage for me.

As for me ,I'm sociable, easy-going, enthusiastic, optimistic, curious, flexible and I love meeting new people, just as most of us do in couch surfing ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have yet to achieve a story that I would define as amazing, would most probably take a lifetime for such a story.
That being said, being in Varanasi, India for the Lunar Eclipse without planning it or even knowing the is an eclipse was pretty amazing. Many superstitions revolve around it so the natural phenomenon drew many believing Hindus to the Gangas. The Sight of so many people purifying right after the eclipse ended was astonishing :)
