Hey there! I'm Raony Osório, a Brazilian civil servant passionate about exploring the world. Since 2009, I've been an active member of the Couchsurfing community, hosting countless travelers in my home, organizing events, and surfing in various continents.

After spending two and a half years working in Africa, I'm back in Floripa and eager to reconnect with the local Couchsurfing community. I'm excited to host like-minded individuals who are curious about Brazilian culture and enjoy sharing their experiences.

More about me: I'm a curious person, a powerlifting devotee, and a self-improvement enthusiast with aspirations of becoming a polyglot. I'm always eager to learn new things and meet people from different backgrounds.

2009 - I started open my house to unknown people!

2010 - Family trip to Buenos Aires, first time traveling with all my brothers and mom abroad;

2011 - Visited Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia;

2012 - Parintins Festival in Amazon jungle;

2013 - I organized the first Pub Crawl in my city and started a small event business that ran for 3 years;

2014 - I ran a half marathon - 21km;

2015 - Eurotrip with a 30l backpack;

2016 - I've started to learn Russian;

2017 - Safari Trip in Namibia!

2018 - FIFA Worldcup in Russia and an awesome 10 days trip in Iran!

2019 - Camel ride in Egypt, around the Giza Pyramids;

2020 - I survived the COVID pandemic;

2021 - I lived in Rio de Janeiro for 02 months in a Brazilian Army facility.

2022 - Got a job in Somalia!

2023 - Finalist on a United Nations award;

2024 - World Nomad Games in Kazakhstan!

2025 - Got a job in Côte d'Ivoire to continue my international civil servant career.
