About Me

I quit my job in October 2019 to come to India work as teacher volunteer in a NGO in Mumbai. After 3 months teaching English and Math to kids in poor community areas, I learned that they are the ones that taught me so much about life and how a school can be not only a school but a family.

From 31st January I'll be travelling around India and some other countries. I don't have a traced plan, so probably I will be requesting my stays in last minutes.

And about me I am a Brazilian/Portuguese male, 35 years old, Mechanical Engineer, that left my country in 2014 to study English in New York and then flew to London and since then didn't go back to Brazil. Found my home in the UK for 5 years until I quit my job and came to India for this volunteer work in this NGO.

I think the world is too small to stay only in our country. I wish everyone could have the chance to know other communities and other countries and see how diverse and beautiful and how much good people we have. The couchsurfing for me is one of the most beautiful examples of that where you open your house for somebody that you don't know but this can bring you so much knowledge.

In spite of never had used the app formally I had been hosted in some guest houses and always had great experience.

A bit more about me, I am a very talkative person and would love to share my travel experiences and learn more about the local community.

I love sports, football, baseball, photography is my passion and I am trying to make this my living. I think I can talk about everything a little and I am very good listener.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because this is one of the most beautiful places to share experience an live the local where I am visiting. I want to share experiences and with that make friends, so one day maybe it will be you who is going to visit me and be hosted in my couch :)

Interests

My biggest interests in photography and film making (that's something new that I am developing), I love photography and I am trying to make this my way of life together with travelling.
Also I am a big fan of LEGO in spite of not being very active in the last few years this is something that if I have some blocks I can have fun for hours.
