Resumen
Sobre mí
CURRENT MISSION
Not traveling anywhere without a local friend or guide!!! I've started to really dislike regular tourism, as I believe we get a fake and commercial version of the local culture. So even if it requires more efforts or limits me in my destinations, I won't travel unless I can find a local to show me around and spend time with!
ABOUT ME
I'm super easy going, I'll follow a host or a friend wherever they lead me. I adapt to any lifestyle or circumstances, and I'm (I think!!) pretty easy to get along with.
I'm always most interested in the history and political context of the places I visit, and rather than read it in history books, I prefer hearing from people who've lived it! And I'm trying to adopt a low-waste, low-carbon, low-animal (including human) suffering lifestyle.
And I'm on a constant search for new music! At the moment I'm very much into Cumbia and Son Jarocho (from Veracruz, Mexico), but I love Gipsy music, Klezmer, Arab, and fusion music.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've gotten along very well with everyone whose couch I've slept on, whether in Boston, Tunis or New Orleans. Unfortunately, I live with roommates so I haven't been able to host much...

Enseña, aprende, comparte
I'm not a particularly skilled person, but I'd be happy to teach all I know, whether it's French, Hebrew, politics or other! I'd be happy to talk about my experience living in different countries too.
There are so many things I want to learn, I couldn't write it all, but here are some: learning Arabic, Spanish; how to grow my own food; car mechanics; astronomy and physics; evolutionary biology; clarinet; and learn how to build a house!
