ABOUT ME

I love sports (especially judo, yoga, gym and tennis), bookstores, dance, music (rock'n roll, MPB, blues and pop are the genres I listened the most) and outdoor places. I don't smoke, I'm vegetarian and I love animals, books, films and coffee. I'm quite drawn to the countryside for its simplicity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used to go to weekly meetings in my city, Curitiba, for many years and also organizes the tennis' matches. I used to host a lot and rarely surf, but now my time has come to surf a bit more. =)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met people from so many different countries and learned a lot about their cultures and way of thinking. I traveled through CouchSurfing and had a lot of good experiences, as well as good friends.

Interests

Friends at their free time to talk about different aspects of culture, music and nature; to participate on sports or for a walk. Not really a party goer - but yeah, I can dance samba. :D

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies? I really love asian movies (Kim Ki Duk ones) and european ones instead of american blockbusters. And all of the Woody Allen movies. Into the wild, Duets and Yes man! are my three fav ones.

Directors: Fellini, Almodovar, Woody Allen, Sofia Coppola, Kubrick, Tarantino, Kim Ki Duk and so on.

Music: Cake, KT Tunstall, Amy Winehouse, Seu Jorge, The Beatles, Ana Carolina, Coldplay, The Strokes, Kings of Leon, Faichecleres, Dissonantes, Sabonetes, Adele...

Books: any of Shakespeare and Woody Allen; Art of Living - Dalai Lama; Madame Bovary - Gustave Flaubert; Jane Eyre - Charlotte Bronte; Catcher in the Rye - J. D. Sallinger; The Magic Mountain - Thomas Mann.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've learnt that life is simple and easy, but frequently complicated by others. So I try to understand what's going on and how not to be influenciated by bad feelings and acts. I always intend to get a perfect harmony - usually making other people laugh.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to talk about what people think and do in their lives, like to have conversations about lot of issues - people, music, their own country - and show the way I see the world. I usually make some caipirinhas in my place and teach people how to make it. ^^
