Overview
About Me
From Northern California, I’m a bartender and love the outdoors. Love for travel started when I was 6. Grandfather would drive me from SF to Mexico every summer until I was 14. I remember the coast, desert at night, mountains, driving from one country to another and loving it. Spending the summer with a completely different set of friends, family, food and things to do. From there my step father started taking me to visit his family in Puerto Vallarta where I would help with the building of my parents house. And now I’ve started building my own home there.
I enjoy getting to know people, volunteering, understanding where I am, grabbing drinks with friends and going out to have a good time.
I've made many friends that I still visit and keep in touch with around the world and would like to keep that going.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To have a great time of course!!
See the world and people where I visit in a better way then just staying in a hotel surrounded by tourists and tourist traps. Even hostels can be impersonal.
I've always made friends in almost every country I've visited but hardly friends from the country I'm in when I'm there. CS is changing that.
Interests
Experiencing new things I haven't had the chance to experience yet. Road trips, hiking, taking landscape pictures. I drive a motorcycle. Self defense, building a house learning Russian and how to rock climb.

Music, Movies, and Books
Love anything with an amazing sound or great lyrics. So much amazing music
When I travel I try to read literature that’s set in the country I’m visiting. Recently bought the Voynich Manuscript
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went around the world on New Year's ‘17. From Beijing to Mongolia, through Siberia in the winter to St. Petersburg to visit friends. Down to the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Egypt, South Africa. Ending in the U.K and Netherlands to visit more friends.
Teach, Learn, Share
Can help with English or Spanish. Give self defense lessons in boxing. Show you how to make good drinks to share with friends. Worked construction and demolition so I’m good at fixing things.
Great conversationalist.
I would like to learn more about the places I stay outside of a tourist guide. Have an interest to learn more about wine, literature and the people of the countries I’m visiting.
I can share anything. At the very least help. I think it would be cool to give something from California before arriving. Or grabbing something to share or give from whatever country I'm in before hand.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My time. A helping hand with anything that needs to be done around the house or apartment.
Raised to be the best host and strive to be the best guest. Friends are welcomed to visit Cali or Puerto Vallarta any time.
