Overview
About Me
Hey, thanks for clicking my face. I moved to Israel at the end of 2010 to serve the country, and fell in love with the place! I'm Jewish (the chill type). If you haven't met any of us yet then here is a good opportunity to see if we really have horns! 😈 (Spoiler Alert: we don't😀) I've worked in a wide variety of jobs from Archaeological Excavating to selling spices in the Machane Yehuda Market, to telemarketing to working in various kitchens. I also started going to college where all the classes are in Hebrew, and quickly learned the academic Hebrew is not the same as Street Hebrew. I love a good movie as much as a fun board game (of which I have a whole collection). Alternatively, I could just kick it with a cold beer. Basically, if you're hosting me or being hosted by me, as long as you're intrigued by one of those things then we should have what to talk about!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Just an average Joe looking to get out in the world and expand my horizons🌎, and if I can't get out, then I'll bring the world to me!
Interests
I love traveling (who here doesn't?) and seeing new things. I enjoy building things and figuring out how stuff works. Woodworking is one of my favorite hobbies, unfortunately I haven't had much of an opportunity to pursue it in recent years.

Music, Movies, and Books
🎥
When it comes to movies, I love anything comic book related really, although the Suicide Squad movie was painful to watch. Other than that I love action adventures, comedys, really anything with a good plot line and a decent story.... although I don't much care for a gory Horrors.
📚
I love all of Vince Flynn's (rip) books, although the preview to the American Assassin movie looks painful.
Terry Pratchett with his Discworld series is an all around favorite for me!
J.R.R. Tolkien. Obviously.
J.K. Rowling. Also obviously.
🎶
I listen to Classic Rock, some light Metal, (like Disturbed or Five Finger Death Punch), all sorts of Classical Music, a bit of Jazz, and quite a lot in between.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived in Vancouver for the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. While there, I got to see one of the paralympic hockey matches. That was pretty cool.
Teach, Learn, Share
In 2010 I started learning Hebrew and have become quite proficient in language. I will gladly teach you some words or if you already know some Hebrew, feel free to practice it on me and I can help you improve it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer my winning personality (you can be the judge of that) as well as some good conversation if you're interested. (I'm really bad at small talk though)
Countries I’ve Visited
Bulgaria, Canada, England, France, Iceland, Netherlands, Scotland, Wales
