About Me

I am a Canadian-American of Quebecois decent from rural North Carolina. I grew up speaking English and getting scolded in French. ;)

Sorry I can not accept guests right now, hopefully soon!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived on a farm, and everything of life and death that implies...

Ah, and I studied differential geometry once. Specifically, embedded 4-dimensional tori of constant mean curvature. It was scary.

Teach, Learn, Share

Oh, actually, do you want to learn how to juggle? Juggling is fun and cool and only sometimes breaks things made of glass...

What I Can Share with Hosts

It is really up to you. It means a lot to me to be able to thank my host in some way, even it is just washing the dishes or cooking a meal. If you want to spend time together and show me around the place you call home, awesome! On the other hand, if you are busy or otherwise occupied, I am perfectly content with going out and doing things on my own, so do not feel guilty--you have already given me more than I can ever give to you with your hospitality!

I am a fan of housewarming gifts, so unless you tell me otherwise, I will probably show up with some chocolates, or a bottle of wine, or maybe just a random chunk of rock some Native American chipped into a tool for getting food a thousand years ago.
