ABOUT ME

I just finished University - Master of Education - with the subjects Art Education and German language.
For the last five month I was teaching at an Indian Secondary School in Trivandrum, Kerala.
As part of an internship I was giving art and german language workshops for children and adults.

As artist I am practicing several art forms like Performance Art, Photography, Audiowalks, painting, etc.
Furthermore I love to travel around the world, trecking, to play guitar and base in my band, do Meditation, reading, going jogging, spending time with friends and doing a lot of other crazy things!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hosting people and surfing to get in touch with different cultures, people and traditions!
Its the best way to learn sth. new - you will never get in touch with a culture by just sitting around at the pool of your Beach Resort. :D

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In Turkey we spent some days with two turkish girls in small village near to Bodrum in the mountains. In the morning we drank cay, during the day we went diving and in the evening we watched the fantastic sunset over the sea and cooked together turkish and german food! Awesome!

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh I really like to watch films, which try to confuse the viewers perspective by twisting his perception of reality like shutter island, inception or fight club!
Due to the fact that I am studying german now I concern myself a lot with german literature. I think a problem is to find enough time to read more! ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2011 i travelled with some friends around the south of India.. it was incredible. So many new views, experiences and impressions, i really began to love that country! Especially the city Hampi with its old temples I really liked! We climbed on a big holy mountain, watched the sunset and the fantastic landscape of south india! Afterwards we took the rickshaw back to our guest room and some in indians cooked some chicken curry for us to have dinner at the riverside!

Teach, Learn, Share

There is always something new to learn! I could show you how to use a DSLR Camera and how to create mind-blowing light painting pictures. I can provide you with lessons about Performance Art, Audio capturing and of course German Language! ;) I also love to cook, so we could cook a perfect meal together or we could just go to the city to have some drinks. :)
