Hey, I'm Raphi and live in Vienna, Austria. I really enjoy travelling on my own and exploring new things. I am very open minded and easy going, good to talk to and generally a positive person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it is a perfect way to get to know the city and people itself and away from all the tourism. I enjoy meeting new people and it is a great way on here. I've also learned: Sharing is caring! So I'm always happy to contribute something.

Interests

I want to be able to speak Dutch soon and move to the Netherlands in a few years so I really appreciate every opportunity to get to know the country, culture and language more.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like different kind of music genres.
I listen to the radio, grew up with old school hip hop, often hear calm harp music to fall asleep, German rap when I am with my brother and Spanish songs/reggaeton/African beats with my sister.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I slept at a hidden beach in Mallorca. We went through a whole in the rocks and found a beautiful grotto with stalagmites and stalactites. It also had a small pond kind of water area where we were swimming in. The cave was pitch black but we had a torch and the light reflected beautifully on the water. We stayed there for a while and just enjoyed the calmness and were singing songs.

I'm becoming a primary school teacher and know everything is a learning process. I like to help people, if they want me too, and also like learning new things.
