Last year I went on my first solo trip to New Zealand and it was really the craziest and best time of my life. Before I left Austria I wasn't sure what to expect and the only thing I had planned were 2 nights in a hostel in Auckland. Waiting for my connection flight in Shanghai I was thinking “What the hell am I actually doing here” – going to the other end of the world – alone, without a plan. But it turned out to be the best decision of my life (so far) – I arrived and immediately all doubts and thoughts were gone. I met my first friend at the airport in Auckland and from that point I just went with the flow – literally 😊
