About Me

Damn, this profile sucks. Can't convince myself to make up witty stuff to put in though.

CURRENT MISSION

finding where the fun has gone. Have you seen it at your place?

ABOUT ME

Feel free to write me a laudatio, if you feel like it ; I won't!

PHILOSOPHY

An easy way to ruin a conversation with a philosophy student? Ask him what "his philosophy" is. And the one with the favourite philosopher.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

hey, it's THE way to travel - and not because it helps keeping costs down. Maybe it's kind of a cure to the touristic alienation, giving back a sense to this whole moving-your-ass-to-another-place-thing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Did some couchsurfing in Italy and some serious surfing in Iran (got addicted), definitely want to see more of Europe and the rest of the world. We hosted a bunch in our 8-people flat in Paris in the passed 5 month, and I'll be inviting a bunch once I get back to Berlin - finally I will have the space for that!

Interests

I'm a cineast, I guess, and I'm into stuff that generates little speed with too much noise and the scent of fossile energies transduced in an almost medieval manner. Furthermore I like waking up in strange and foreign places and swimming at night.

Music, Movies, and Books

A book is a book is a book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelled Berlin-Rome with an average speed of 50 km/h, crossing the Alps like a Badass-Hannibal on a GDR-Moped,
saw the beauty of thick black clouds of smoke from oilfields in the emptiest place I've ever seen.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been a bit into studying social utopia lately. Even if it's not quite close to classical leftist theory what I've been working on, I'd love to know more about that!

What I Can Share with Hosts

And I'm obsessed with the idea I took from Kerouac of two people having a conversation in true, deep, perfect honesty. Seems to be an experiment one should dare. Could two strangers possibly do that?

Countries I’ve Visited

Czech Republic, Iran, Italy, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, Germany
