About Me

I am from Québec, french province of Canada. Always looking for adventures and connections is a part of me since I am a child. I spent a large part of my childhood in orchards surrounded by travellers from all around then going around nature walking, biking, camping.

I started to travel by hitchhiking/autostop in my province and soon through Canada then Europe, North America and West Asia. Locally or abroad, those experiences brought me the extraordinary feeling of really getting to know and understand better the others whatever are their social, economical, cultural backgrounds.

My will for connections with people came with involvement in social movements, through protests and volunteering in civil society organizations. I am always craving ways to make an impact in the world, to transform this crazy society that is bringing so much pain and inequalities.

Incredible stories happen on the road. One of them is meeting my girlfriend who is from Poland and it is how multiple adventures brought me recently to my new home : Berlin, Germany.

And I am also trying to write a book based on some of those previous adventures. A challenge of introspection that I deeply want to fulfill!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitch-hiking through Canada from Québec to Yukon while admiring the numerous natural beauties of the wide territory of Canada. Discovering history and cultures around Europe by travelling the same way from Finland to France. Crossing the United-States, by myself this time, hitch-hiking as well! Going from Poland to Georgia on another extraordinary adventure :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I am trying to learn as much German as I can to be able to integrate myself better in my new home. Also, I am playing a bit of guitar and surely would enjoy learning more.

What I Can Share with Hosts

No big expectation of any kind, simple the occasion to connect and share peacefully. That can be sharing stories, ideas, feelings, a nice meal prepared together, a coffee/tea/beer, a pleasant walk, etc.
