About Me
Originally from Porto, Portugal. Currently living in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.
I love to be challenged and defied. That's why I enjoy so much traveling and being out of my comfort zone.
I can be very thoughtful but I love to have fun. I'm spontaneous and enthusiastic. A bit hard to read sometimes. Curious and always eager to learn something new.
As for philosophy of living, I believe in living as if nothing has ever gone wrong. I aim to gain wisdom, not fears.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've started surfing in one of the most hectic cities in the world: Bangkok. And I absolutely loved it. Since then I've always had super cool hosts and met great people!
Couch surfing for me is one of the best ways to travel specially because I manage to meet locals, who end up being the soul of any place. After a while I just got a bit run out of the hostels' vibe.
Interests
The serious hours: science, sustainablity, psychology, mankind and its future. The fun ones: a good night out, enjoy a beer with friends. The relax hours: music, movies and doing stuff with my hands. The sporty hours: yoga and swimming. And of course, travelling as much as I can.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite book is "As Intermitências da Morte" by Saramago. I would say Saramago is my favorite author as well. I don't really have a favorite movie, but I prefer the ones that make you think or that teach you something. Music is a driving force for pretty much everything.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the experiences that marked me the most was my interrail through Europe. I was quite afraid of traveling by myself at the time, but I manage to put myself on a train and go. I have the sweetest memories about that trip and a bunch of good lessons as well.
My last trip lasted 7+ months in Asia. I've been by myself in India , Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Macao and the Philippines. All that time on the road was absolutely incredible, made me put so much of my life in perspective.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, I have a bunch of stories to tell about my trips, but you have to be curious enough to ask.
I can teach you some yoga if you like.
Cooking is something I enjoy so we should definitely make a mess in the kitchen together.
