Soy música (violinista y violista) y también canto un poco. Tengo 55 años, 2 hijas y dos nietos de 3 y 5 años. Soy una mujer sola que ama su soledad. Y también tengo amigos maravillosos.
Música es lo que más me gusta hacer, y de lo que vivo. Tocando, sobre todo dentro de lo que se llama la “música antigua”, y teniendo alumnos, todas actividades que disfruto. Actualmente estoy cerca de terminar la carrera de “Música Antigua” en el conservatorio municipal Manuel de Falla. Con mi amiga Daniela (también música antigua, toca flauta travesera) formamos un dúo de música argentina (tango y folklore) y con ella es con quien voy a viajar
También son cinéfila (y me gustan algunas –pocas- series), y me encantan las novelas históricas. También me gusta cocinar y caminar, y pasar tiempo con mi familia y mis nietos (no tienen competencia) y mis amigos. Cuando tengo oportunidad, me gusta invitar a mis amigos a comer empanadas y locro. También me gusta marchar con mis amigos a la Plaza de Mayo cuando salimos a defender nuestros derechos.
No conozco Europa, es la primera vez que voy.
Mis bisabuelos maternos eran del Piemonte y del Friuli, y por parte de mi papá, españoles e italianos del sur. Me encanta la perspectiva de conocer gente de otros lugares, de poder charlar y compartir cosas con gente amiga. Me interesa mucho saber la historia de los lugares, y la historia en general. Me gustan las ferias y odio los shoppings.
Hablo un poco de inglés (como para entender y que me entiendan me arreglo). No hablo casi italiano, pero entiendo bastante.

Il mio nome è Raquel Giuliani, sono argentina (di Buenos Aires), musicista (violinista e violista) e anche un po' cantante. Ho 55 anni, 2 figlie e due nipoti di 3-5 anni. Io sono una donna singola che ama la sua solitudine. E ho anche amici meravigliosi.
La musica è ciò che mi piace fare, e ciò di cui vivo. Soprattutto suonando quello che viene chiamato la "musica antica" e insegno. Queste sono le attività che mi piace. Sto per terminare la specializzazione di "Musica antica" presso il conservatorio municipale Manuel de Falla. Con la mia amica Daniela (musicista antica, suona le flauto) siamo un duo di musica Argentina (tango e folklore) e con lei che mi metterò in viaggio.
Sono anche appassionata di cinema (e mi piacciono alcune - poche - serie), e adoro i romanzi storici. Mi piace anche cucinare e camminare e passare il tempo con la mia famiglia e i miei nipoti (non hanno concorrenza) e i miei amici. Quando ho la possibilità, mi piace invitare i miei amici a mangiare “empanadas” e locro. Mi piace anche andare con i miei amici in Plaza de Mayo, quando siamo andati a difendere i nostri diritti.
Non conosco in Europa, è la prima volta che ci vado. I miei bisnonni materni erano del Piemonte e del Friuli e da parte di mio padre, gli spagnoli e gli italiani del sud. Mi piace la prospettiva di incontrare persone provenienti da altri luoghi, per chattare e condividere cose con gente simpatica. Voglio sapere la storia dei luoghi e la storia in generale. Mi piacciono le fiere e odio i centri commerciali.
Mi sembra che il modo di relazionarsi attraverso couchsurfing è ottimo, poiché è attraverso la fiducia, dove uno mette il meglio di sé e penso che sia una meravigliosa opportunità per conoscere dall'interno i luoghi che visiti, dalle parole dei suoi stessi abitanti. Non parlo molto italiano, ma capisco abbastanza.

My name is Raquel Giuliani, I am an Argentinian citizen (from Buenos Aires), and musician (violinist/violist) and also sing a bit. I’m 55, have two daugthers and two grandchildren of 3 and 5 yo. I am a lonely woman that loves her loneliness. And also have many worderfull friends.
Music is what I most love to do, and what I do for a living. Playing, mostly into “ancient music” ensembles, and having pupils, all things I enjoy very much. I am nearly finishing a carreer of “ancient music” in local Conservatorio Manuel de Falla. With my friend Daniela, my travel partner (who plays Traverso also in ancient music) we play argentinian music (tango and folk).
I am also a film buff (and like some –only some- series), and love historical novels. I like to walk, talk and cook, and spend my lifetime with my family and friends. When there is an opportunity, I like to invite my friends to have empanadas and locro. I also like to go with friends to Plaza de Mayo, to defend our rights.
I don’t know Europe, it’s my first time.
My great grandparents (my mother’s side) were from Piemonte and Friuli, and from my father, Spanish and South Italy. I love the perspective of meeting other place’s people, to know new places, talk and share things with friendly folks. I’m very interested in the history of each place I go. I like fairs, and hate shoppings.
Seems to me that couchsurfing is the best way to be in contact with people because it’s all through trust, and the chance to know where they live, through their own speech.
I speak a bit of English (to understand and to make others understand).

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Un amigo que viajó usando la modalidad de Couchsurfing me lo recomendó y me pareció una manera óptima de relacionarse, ya que es a través de la confianza, donde todos ponen lo mejor de sí mismos. Creo también que es una excelente oportunidad de conocer desde adentro los lugares que uno visita, de la boca de su propia gente.
Creo que es un muy interesante ejercicio este de relacionarse a través de las imágenes que tenemos de nosotros mismos.

A friend of mine told me he travelled through chouchsurfing modalily, and that it was a beautifull experience. I think it is an excellent oportunity for meeting people and learn other places's customs.

Me encanta la música del seicento italiano, también la música medieval y renacentista, en especial, y música popular en general.

I play in a "seicento" ensemble, love it. And I do like to play and listen middle age and renaissance music. And love playing and listening popular music too

Me gusta desde "El Padrino", "El Señor de los Anillos" y "Brazil", hasta Bergman, Fellini y Truffaut por mencionar alguno,

I Like many films. I am very fond of historical or documental movies. And mostly prefer (except some classics and other cases) European or Latinoamerican productions. Love films since "The Godfather" or "The Lord of the rings", or "Brazil", to films of Bergman, Fellini or Truffaut (to name some) or "Mad Max 2015" (very interesting and moving film!)
