About Me

I am brazilian and I am living in upstate new york. I am planning to go some weekends on NYC and as my city is far from the big apple I would love to meet new people that can offer a couch for a couple of days. Also, I am planning to visit New Orleans in the end of January, to get to know the city of the music and also the Mardi Gras, which is kind of similar with carnival in Brazil. I would love to stay with you a couple of days.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet knew people and make cultural exchange and couchsurfing is the best way for this.
I believe couchsurfing provides a personal exchange that no hostel or hotel in the world can provide. Open the doors of your home nowadays can be compared to oppening your arms to hug a strange. It's really a big deal offer for free your couch for a complete strange and I really admire people who do that.
I believe it's a perfect opportunity to be more open minded and help a person with free accomodation to explore more what the place have to offer.

Interests

I love being in touch with the nature so every outside activity really makes me happy: hiking, running, playing volleyball, swimming, going to the park or the beach or just walking around the city to observe new places. I love going to museums and meeting new different cultures, popular art, everything related to art actually.

Music, Movies, and Books

Brazilian Popular music is my first passion but I am fascinated about classic rock n roll, folk music, jazz and blues, most of the old songs, 1970, 1980s songs.
Although I was born in the 1990s, I grew up listening to Pink Floyd, Beatles, Led Zeppelin and all of the classics. You can expect a very open minded person who is always ready to know different types of musics, foods and experiences.

Breaking bad, friends, GOT and handmade's tale are my favorite TV shows. Also, I recently am passionated about the Office.

Best movies: Inglorious Bastards, Django, Interstelar, Arrival, Kill bill, The best offer, Inception, Shutter Island or any other movie of this type.

Favorite books: 1984, Brave New World, Animal Farm, To kill a mockingbird, Unsustainable lightness of being.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Yoga teacher training. I finished my YTT in Brazil, Florianopolis (a place we called magic island in the south of brazil, and you will understand why we called magic island once you visit there).
and now, moved to USA.
