Dutchie with the travel bug. I have lived in Australia, New Zealand and France for 4 years in total and returned to Amsterdam about a year ago.

I like hanging out with people from different countries and cultures, it's one of the things I miss the most from backpacking. Now I have enough room in my flat to have visitors and some spare time on my hands so why not help you out and have some fun?!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Having surfed many couches during my travels, coming 'home' in Amsterdam I noticed at work and through friends that a lot of people are interested in seeing Amsterdam through the eyes of a local.

I like to show and tell you something different than the tour operators. I also think 45 euro for a shitty hostel is ridiculous, so if we get along you are welcome to stay at my place.

Never shy of a party/drinks/park session, although I have a 9-5 job nowadays so have to take it a little bit easy on school nights..

I don't do drugs so if you're planning to be stoned 24/7 I might not be the right person to contact..

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

I usually only watch movies in the cinema as I always get distracted at home. Blame the attention span. Saying that, and looking on the bright side, I have seen a lot of parts of movies.

With books I have the opposite, if I start I can't stop reading.

Love a lot of different types of music, depending on the occasion. From indie to techno to surf to dutch folklore, always in for a dance.
