About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Never stop moving.

ABOUT ME

I am, above all, a dreamer and a wanderer. I’m constantly on the search for more: places, stories, people, feelings, experiences; more. I’m the happiest when I’m on the road.

I'm, on top of that, a Portuguese journalist with a masters in Documentary Film, currently living in Australia and wishing to make my way in film storytelling, which I am deeply passionate about! I always fall in love with the stories I tell, because I feel they are also a bit my own stories, as we are all connected, a part of the same whole.

Nature fascinates and inspires me. And so does music.

Recently started scuba diving and since that first breath underwater I‘m convinced there’s nothing as magical as being submerged in this gorgeous all new world down there.

I also love photography and dancing and am going step by step into the word of yoga and meditation!

Can't image my life without the possibility of traveling around the world.

“Throw yourself flat on the ground, stretch out upon Mother Earth, with the certain conviction that you are one with her and she with you”, Alan Watts

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love that in any stranger you can find a friend and I know for a fact there’s no better way to get to know a place then through the eyes of a local.

Above all, I believe that the energy, trust and beauty of character that are needed to be a part of this community make it amazing.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Every city has its secrets and I love to discover them in the places I visit as much as I love to brag all about Porto ones.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I feel like I make a new friend every time I host or stay with someone. Amazing experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This year I went to Vava’u, Tonga, to swim with Humpback Whales !!! Hard to explain how expansive the sensation of hearing and feeling the vibrations of them singing underwater or seeing them moving closer to you as they come to the surface.

A few years ago, I took the longest train journey in the world - from Portugal to Vietnam - and made a documentary film about how we are all literally and figuratively connected. That was my first truly solo travel and that led me to experience a kind of peace and freedom I hadn’t found before.

Currently, I’m travelling all across Australia and home is where I park it, which gives me a freedom hard to describe. Everyday, I’m amazed by something or someone that I could have never predicted in my best dreams, and that sensation is priceless!
