About Me
Visiting California as an artist in residence until 18th November!
I am an Art student of the West Bohemian University of Pilsen, but I come from the Czech capital, Prague. I make illustrations and comics, and apart from the art world, I love out/indoor climbing, hitch hiking, travelling and long walks.
I consider myself to be very open minded and tolerant person, yet hopefully aware of my prejudices and learnt stereotypes. I strongly believe in honesty and I support you in treating me in such manner. I do my best when it comes to empathy, but please know I cant do much when it comes to mind reading. Tell me what your expectations are and we compare and make the best out of it.
I try to keep an open mind, but not so open my brains fall out. I am very interested in social issues, feminism and racism. If you happened to think that either or those things don't exist or there's no need for them, I strongly suggest not mentioning it in front of me. I find these issued extremely important for my moral ground.
I am also into volunteering, I did some in Slovenia, Poland or Czech.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a huge fan of comics, mostly the European indie scene.
I love New Weird edition, especially China Mieville. I enjoy fantasy and sci-fi and classics as well.
Currently in the state of adoration of the 100 and Orphan Black.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I participated in a night walk to see the sunrise from the ruined ramparts of Primda Castle.
I skinny-dipped in the hot steam pools in the Southern Bulgaria, 3 am, mist and the silver moon.
I hitch hiked alone from Burgas to Belgrad.
I ran through the strongest storm in the streets of Belgrade.
I once ate 1kg of Nutella.
I helped clean personal belonging of Jews who were murdered at Chelmno death camp.
I once saw 22 falling stars in one night.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can give you a very useless lesson of history of comics, a wonderful skill you might use later impress your friends.
I can draw your face in a manner that will probably make you slightly offended and slightly less grateful.
I can teach you Czech and English, and if you have no idea what does French and Polish sound like, I can teach you those too.
I can teach you how to throw a Frisbee in a very deadly manner.
