Overview
About Me
Back home from my 14 months bike trip to Vietnam. Now studying mathematics in Münster.
Due to my introverted nature, I may not be the most talkative person but that never held me back from getting to know new people and it also makes me a good listener. Nevertheless, I like talking about all kinds of topics, exchanging travel experiences and discussing politics, literature and "Gott und die Welt" ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As a student I have participated in a number of exchange programs in different countries and have also hosted some foreign students myself. I always had a great time with them, so Couchsurfing just seems like the perfect way to perpetuate this kind of exchange.

Well, where do I start? I'm interested in lots of different things. Besides literature, languages, math and music I like teaching and traveling (preferably by bike).

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy all kinds of music: EDM, Pop and rap. I also have a passion for classical music and like to listen to foreign music in Dutch, Esperanto, French or Yiddish. If I had to choose one piece of music that I would be "doomed" to listen to exclusively for the rest of my life it would be "Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture" by Tschaikovsky.
Some of my favorite movies and series are Inglorious Bastards, Inception, Requiem for a Dream, House of Cards, Breaking Bad and Silicon Valley.
I love reading and especially enjoy classic works of world literature. Some of my favorite books are The little Prince, All Quiet on the Western Front, War and Peace, The Count of Monte Cristo, Into the Wild and The Discovery of the Slowlessness. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I had the great opportunity to live in the United States for a year as an exchange student.
All my bicycle trips have been a great experience. So far I have traveled 35 countries this way.
Some years ago I started a project for the integration of refugees that, to this point, has been awarded two prices.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learing new things and also like to share them with others. For instance I'd really like to practice my language skills or help others develope their own.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A bed, a meal and one or another story.
