About Me

My name is Rashid, I am from Russia. According to my education and profession I’m a civil engineer, but it’s not my true destination, I think. I’m fond of different kind of creativity. I like communicating with people, making new friends. I like everything new and unusual, learn new things that filled my mind at this moment. It’s very easy for me to get involved with new ideas and I like to spread them. I can work on the things I am currently interested in, and do it only on enthusiasm. I can listen to the person and support in a difficult situation. I adore helping people. Though it is a bit naive, but I try to see only good sides in people, trust them and expect the same in return. I do not like betrayal. Naively believe that kindness and love will save the world. Well, or at least the life of one guy :)

MBTI about my personality type:
(Do not read this if you are not interested, but these descriptions are precise enough)
An INFP is the butterfly that can’t wake up from its dream of being a caterpillar dreaming of becoming the butterfly.
When the reality doesn’t turn out to be less perfect than we envision, INFPs tend to procrastinate finishing projects or end up leaving activities and picking up completely new ones. Moving from activity to activity until we hit upon something that we can do well enough to match our idealism leads us to become good at many things but masters of none.
Introvert means inwardly-focused. It doesn’t mean withdrawn from the the world. Although INFPs need time alone to recharge, INFPs need a connection with others. We like spending time with others, but how many and how often depends on how social we are.
Social INFPs also have their small social circle of friends, but they also see a need to have a larger group of acquaintances in their lives. They view new people as new ideas and that newness is exciting not daunting. Although social INFPs prefer the company of a few close friends, they are just likely to enjoy the company of casual acquaintances. Social INFPs have learned the requisite social skills in order to be comfortable in meeting and conversing with new people. INFPs enjoy interesting or humorous anecdotes and stories. They often recall and share notable episodes from their own life experiences.
INFps have the ability to positively console people who are upset or worried by helping them to look to the future with optimism. With strangers INFps behave gallantly and tactfully, showing good manners and education. However among friends and family they can be very up front sometimes behaving frivolously. They enjoy baiting others in a playful manner in order to create an easy and tension-free atmosphere. At home INFps can be very frivolous and capricious, showing great stubbornness in getting what they want, sometimes creating dramas and scenes. These emotional outbursts are usually short and disappear without consequences. Generally they have very flexible emotions which they control consciously. INFps will often accumulate their complaints in order release them all in one go in an appropriate situation. In fact, people who show concern about INFps health and well being and who listen to their problems are very much appreciated.
When you speak to male INFj it seems like the conscience itself is staring into your eyes. He has a gift for understanding people. He is sympathetic, capable of feeling for other's misfortunes as if they are his own, and of comforting them after sharing in their low moods. One can trust him, as he will never go against the interests of people who are close to him. Beneath his external lightheartedness he had a tendency toward strict self-criticism. In private he could blame himself for hours because of his idleness or regret an incorrectly said word.
INFPs, more than other iNtuitive Feeling types, are focused on making the world a better place for people. Their primary goal is to find out their meaning in life. What is their purpose? How can they best serve humanity in their lives? They are idealists and perfectionists, who drive themselves hard in their quest for achieving the goals they have identified for themselves.
INFPs are highly intuitive about people. They rely heavily on their intuitions to guide them, and use their discoveries to constantly search for value in life. They are on a continuous mission to find the truth and meaning underlying things. Every encounter and every piece of knowledge gained gets sifted through the INFP's value system, and is evaluated to see if it has any potential to help the INFP define or refine their own path in life.
INFPs are flexible and laid-back, until one of their values is violated. In the face of their value system being threatened, INFPs can become aggressive defenders, fighting passionately for their cause. When an INFP has adopted a project or job which they're interested in, it usually becomes a "cause" for them. Although they are not detail-oriented individuals, they will cover every possible detail with determination and vigor when working for their "cause".
When it comes to the mundane details of life maintenance, INFPs are typically completely unaware of such things. They might go for long periods without noticing a stain on the carpet, but carefully and meticulously brush a speck of dust off of their project booklet.
INFPs have very high standards and are perfectionists. Consequently, they are usually hard on themselves, and don't give themselves enough credit. INFPs may have problems working on a project in a group, because their standards are likely to be higher than other members' of the group. In group situations, they may have a "control" problem. The INFP needs to work on balancing their high ideals with the requirements of every day living. Without resolving this conflict, they will never be happy with themselves, and they may become confused and paralyzed about what to do with their lives.
INFPs are usually talented writers. They may be uncomfortable with expressing themselves verbally, but have a wonderful ability to define and express what they're feeling on paper. INFPs also appear frequently in social service professions, such as counselling or teaching. They are at their best in situations where they're working towards the public good, and in which they don't need to use hard logic.
INFPs who function in their well-developed sides can accomplish great and wonderful things, which they will rarely give themselves credit for. Some of the great, humanistic catalysts in the world have been INFPs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I traveled with my friends hitchhiking, and this is my first experience of big travelling. We already passed Brazil and Venezuela. Next country - Columbia. But now we decide to separate, because I need to go to Cartagena to find job there. I have a dream - to shoot my own movie. Perhaps, on this trip, my dream will become closer. I have only a backpack of 60 liters with me, so I won't take a lot of space. I have a sleeping bag, and I can easily sleep on the floor. I love cooking and ready to help with household chores. I can speak Russian and English only, but I think we can understand each other :) Now I start to learn Spanish and already know a few words:)
