I am Rasim. A student from Boğaziçi University, İstanbul. I study philosophy and western language and literature at university. I like to travel as much as possible in my spare time. I do like to do sport. I am an amateur free and scuba diver, athlete, and yogi. I am pursuing to find the best way to experience the world that we live in and I have always good vibes. I do not prefer to use tobacco and alcohol, but I respect those who use them(just trying to be healthy). I like to cook and try new tastes. And if the light and the place are good, I all the time take pictures. Inevitably, I like to do philosophical discussions on every range of topics.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because sharing a common living place with a stranger and experiencing a couple of days with them are unique. And by this way, I became aware of different ways of living and perspectives in every point so it enriches me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I nearly all the time listen to electronic house and punk music. Especially, daft punk, NTO, and metronomy are my favorite groups. I like art movies and blockbuster movies as well. But my favorite movie is an animation named "Soul". It is about finding the "thing" which makes you the actual you.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got out of my home for a one-week trip but I traveled for four months around the turkey via hitchhiking and quit the university just because I didn't attend an exam. But of course, I got approval for another one next year.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to do some yoga moves, how to dive and expand the volume of breathing, I can cook, I can take a lot of good photos, I can create an excellent plan aandt etc.
