CURRENT MISSION
Stop, listen, look, absorb, and learn to love it all...
ABOUT ME
Hmmm... time to rewrite this... Well after I finished university I moved back home, saved up money, and bought a one-way ticket to Istanbul, Turkey. I have been here since June 2011, living, traveling, meeting people. Since, I've found myself working, traveling, and gaining new life experiences. My dream is to go to as many parts of the world as I can before my time is up, to meet the people which inhabit the world that I share, as well as share with them stories of my own and in return hear theirs. I like to have fun, to wonder, get lost and find my way back. I enjoy spontaneous moments though it's been less frequent lately than it has been in the past.
PHILOSOPHY
Go as many places as possible, meet as many different types of people as possible, explore, take chances, try to appreciate even the smallest of things in life, be positive, and laugh and smile. Question your surroundings.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
As of lately I haven't been too active couchsurfing or hosting. My house is super small and I'm currently on the move for a while. Hopefully, once I get some more stuff together and perhaps a spare foam mattress I can become more involved again.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted a handful of surfers and have had many friends that have gone out and surfed all over the world. Met some really amazing people that have helped me in rough times and I really appreciate all that people do here for one another. It's quite amazing!
Interests
Traveling and meeting all sorts of people from around the world, art, history, painting, music, stories, hiking, being outdoors, digging holes in the dirt. Nomadism :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I love music! Lewis Carroll "The Jabberwocky," Kobo Abe, Carl Hiaasen, old travel stories about far off places, Philip Kerr, Elmore Leonard, Jack Kerouac, Haruki Murakami, The Hakawati... I have strange spurts of reading non-stop followed by periods of nothing.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been very fortunate that I had the chance to start traveling when I was very young. Since then, I've tried to keep that up and my adventures have become something almost unimaginable to me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't think I'm very special in any skills in particular, perhaps just lucky haha.
What I Can Share with Hosts
When I come back, if I get my house put together a bit more perhaps I can start hosting people in the living room. It's a small place :-/ otherwise, I'm happy to meet for a chat or beer or something.
