About Me

Young and energetic, always looking for new adventures.

Work as a web developer in Denmark, founded my own company when I was 21. Previously worked as a marine engineering student where I lived on containerships while sailing europe-asia-usa. It took me abroad and opened up the world for me to explore and travel countries.

On the personal level I'm a calm person who enjoys to chill, hang out, and doesn't have to plan everything several hours/days/weeks ahead.

I love the excitement of meeting new people and take it as a challenge to do so. For the past 6 months I've made it a habit not drinking when going out, as I find to enjoy the socializing and connecting with new people more that way.
For the very same reason I prefer traveling alone as this has always been a sure way for me to meet many interesting people and lasting friendships.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've made it my goal to visit at least one new country a year. Since I most often do this alone, I find couch surfing a great place meeting locals as well as other travellers to engage with during my journey.

I enjoy and value real connections and deep conversations, and it dazzles me how profound friendships can be formed in really short time.

Interests

Personal development, entrepreneurship, outdoor, meditation, technology.

Fun fact: I went to salsa classes in my current city Aarhus a few times... it's growing on me...

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm quite open to new music and have a wide range of taste. Personally I enjoy putting on either rock or pop. Ed Sheeran and John Mayer are always high ranking on my 'quiet nights' playlist.
Also Ive played guitar myself for the past 10 years, so its not always from the soundsystem.

I enjoy reading as well; mostly biographies and knowledge acquiring stuff. Most recently 4 hour work week, Steve Jobs and Active meditation by Osho.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

River rafted down the Ganga river in India.
Scuba diving in southern thailand islands
Got lost in a thai jungle
Partied at the full moon in Koh phangang
Enjoyed life in Goa beaches
Hiked in the himalaya when living in Dalai lamas tibetitan village in India
Cliff jumping ...

.. Found it hard choosing just one. However, what led to it all was the fact that I quit everything I had an owned in Denmark, to buy a oneway ticket and go travel in India while running my company on the side. School, internship, apartment, job - all quit within one week.
So I guess thats actually the most amazing thing.

Teach, Learn, Share

- I'm a querious person that loves to learn and philosophize on the small and big questions of life.
This interest have often been a valuable asset of mine when traveling and meeting likeminded and resolved in many interesting conversations

- Give me a guitar, and you won't hear the end of it until you take it away.

- My insights on entrepreneuring and forming your own business have come up as an asset before as well. Did I mention I have either formed or been part of 4 different companies for the past 3 years?

- My many stories from many countries. I can't even remember them all, but they tend to pop up at random times in a conversation. For instance: Did I mention the new years eve 2014/15 when me and a few travel friends were playing/singing 'Let it be (The Beatles)' on a beach in Gokarna (India), and about 50 locals formed around us, sang along, and treated os as rockstars to shake our hands and high-fiving us at 12 o clock? :-) :-)

- My interest in constantly expanding my own comfort zone has previously given others opportunity to expand theirs as well (when is the last time you have given hugs to strangers... just because?)
