Hello, my name is Rasmus and I live in the middle of the island Zealand (Sjælland) in a town called Dianalund. I'm 21 years old. I like coffee and beer (which is very common, but probably nice to know :) ) I spend most of my time hanging out with friends and meeting new people or going to concerts/festivals. When I'm alone i love reading (a huge passion of mine), drawing, listening to music and generally learning about everything. I'm very curious and love learning about everything, since I genereally don't find anything boring or uninteresting. I lovediscussing Philosophy, Psychology, Science (Physics, Genetics and stuff like that) and many more things.

I've couchsurfed and meet many couchsurfers through the recent years, mostly with or through friends. It's an awesome way to meet new people and experience foreign cultures and cities. Also I like to withdraw from the very turisty stuff and genuinely experience cultures and cities. There's no better way than through the locals.

Litterature, Culture, History, NATURE!, arts and philosophy. I love hanging out with friends in shady jazz bars or enjoying a cold beer on the beach. I love meeting new people and experiencing things with them. I occasionally watch TV (mostly movies). I've lived without a TV for a year and I didn't really miss it.

I looooove music (mostly Jazz, Pop, old rock and reggae) but I'm generally an all rounder.

I really like old movies and quirky/weird movies. I'm a huge fan of Wes Andersons work, Christopher Nolans and also Tarantinos (I've probably seen Pulp Fiction 40 times).
But in general I enjoy everything from Mean Girls to Star Wars.

I'm an avid reader and mostly read the classics (Like Hemingway and even the old greek myths). But at the moment I'm really into the japanese author Haruki Murakami, I've almost read all of his books, but I had to finish the Game of Thrones book-series first.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I went as a exchange student to New York City and lived in Brooklyn for 5 Months, studying at the local High School. That was quite the experience.
Also went to Roskilde Festival for the past 4 years.

On my travels I've been doing everything from herding sheep on motorbikes in Australia, Scuba Diving and climbing mountains and venturing into a forest, where i was Hammock camping among parrots in New Zealand.

I know a load of useless facts (mainly from playing too much trivia and surfing wikipedia until late at night). But that is not very useful. If you insist I can teach you a load of card games.

I love learning new things while couchsurfing, listening to new music, learning how to cook a foreign dish and learning about the depths of a new culture.
I know that hosts can be very generous, while not being appreciated as they should. So I go out of my way to help my hosts and put a smile on their face.
