ABOUT ME

You just have to meet me to know me. =) It's so hard to describe yourself objectively. I work and live in Ljubljana at the moment and really love the city. I just love to hang out with my friends, I love to meet new people 'cuz they have so much new stories to tell. And I just adore to travel. Especially 'cuz I want to know how other people in different countries live, party, think.... yeah I'm a sociologist :) But to truly know the energy and the vibe of the city you have to live there...so my new passion is to live in many different places. :)Some people say that I'm a bit crazy..hopefully they mean it in a positive way :) But there so much more about me that you'll find out when you'll host me, surf at my place or just meet me somewhere. But since my work is not traditional 8h per day, from 9-17h, I can hardly tell you more than a week in advance if I could host you. Try to ask and we'll see.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was offering a couch (and will do this again as soon as it will be possible) and hoping that when I go to a trip others will be so generous to offer me something to sleep on =). But I'm not a CS member just because of free sleeping arrangements. I want to experience the true inside perspective of the cities I'm visiting and know the my hosts somewhat. I'm also trying to do the same with my surfers. I really want to know people I will spent time with.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It all started when my friends introduced me to CS. But I didn't had a possibility to host at that time. As soon as I got this opportunity I became an active host. Later I tried surfing, joined some groups and just fell in love with the whole CS idea.

Interests

I'm interested in many things especially in something fun, crazy, adventurous ... I just want to make the best of my life. I think that later on people are remembering the experiences so I want to make a lot of them unforgettable and just enjoy my life as much as I can.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many. And it would not be fair to anything that I would left out =))

But I like any kind of music, it's not that I listen to just one music style. I like breakbeat, drum'n'bass, dancehall, jungle, reggae, old rock, classical, indie, funk... you see where I'm going with that :)
It's also like this with the movies. I just don't like typical american comedies, when it's all about the sex, drinking, throwing up etc. I prefer European movies which are more real in my opinion. If you don't agree that can lead to an interesting debate :)
Oh and I love reading. But lately I'm mostly reading articles from many different fields. Still, sociology and research are my fav. But I am always looking for new knowledge. . So there is a lot of theory, but I'm really interested in this. :)
