About Me

Hi ! my name is Rasty. I grew up in a small valley in Laguna and that probably explains my close affinity to nature and outdoors. I am currently living in one of the busiest cities in the Philippines and currently having a 9-5s job.

I am also a happy blogger who loves to write about my travel experiences. I made a personal blog to promote local tourism and to inspire people to live their life to the fullest. If you have time you may visit my blog at www.rastysanchez.com for more of my travels and adventures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This website was introduced to me by a hiker friend while we were having our descent from the top of Mt.Tapulao in Zambales, Northern Philippines. I immediately searched and stumble upon different website to learn more about couchsurfing and I was so intrigue about the positive reviews of many travelers for this website.

The reason why I choosed to join couchsurfing is because I love the feeling of being able to talk and interact with the local people. I love discovering new things and new cultures and I believe that being connected to local people is a great way of understanding the core values and traditions of various cultures.

Interests

Climbing mountains, travelling, falls hopping, scuba diving, reading, photography . I'm a huge on climbing mountains. My goal is to climb 50 summits in the Philippines before I get 30.
