Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The world is huge and very interesting, meeting people from other cultures and being able to share my own, while having a beer and eating homemade food is one of the richest experiences one can have.

Interests

I like both nature and urban environments, in the nature I enjoy doing some trails (hikking or biking) although I'm very slow for climbing and I also love camping and watching sunrises and sunsets.

On the city, I enjoy going to concerts and events with live music.

I like to surf when I can and skate when I can't surf.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music, specially blues, rock, jazz, reggae and Brazilian music. I almost always have some music playing.

I like to read and watch movies, but I often struggle with dividing my time equally between both.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I trekked the Salkantay trail in Peru to Machu Picchu for 5 days, it was a truely rich experience.

I spent two consecutive new year's eve camping, one with friends in an almost deserted beach in the coast of São Paulo and in the following year, with a bunch of other couchsurfer's, mostly strangers to each other in the mountains around Barcelona near an abandoned mine. Both experiences were awesome!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a decent cook, so if you are really basic pherhaps I could teach you some recipes.

I also can teach you how to ride a surf-skate if I have it with me and I'm also learning to play the harmonica, so I could share some of that knowledge too.

I study Data Science and Artificial Intelligence so I'm always keen on discussing this topic, sharing what I know and hearing people's thoughts on the matter.
