Hello everyone,

My name is Raul, I'm 22 years old, and I'm a native Californian. I have recently graduated from college with a degree in Biochemistry. I like to go hiking, biking, skating, walking, running, reading, traveling, trying new foods, going to museums and learning about new cities. I also enjoy working hard and staying busy, making use of my time.

I'm very relaxed but I'm always game to do anything. I'll new food or go to a new concert from an artist I've never heard of. I'm always down to give things a chance.

Currently I work as a Lab Assistant in Santa Cruz, California.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm moving to Germany in the next couple of months (October) and I would like to make contacts before I go just in case i need a place to crash!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love hip hop, rap, and indie music. My personally favorite artists are Joey Badass, pROERA, Minus the Bear, The Growlers, Kid Cudi, Stromae, Atmosphere and Black Keys to name a few.

As far as movies go, I like action and suspense movies as well as horror films. I also enjoy a good drama but I dislike chick flicks and movies with clowns.

I would say my favorite movie of all time is Office Space.
