My name is Raul Galan and I am from a German medieval town of Transylvania (Romania), called Bistrita. Currently I study Social Research and Public Policy and Arabic Language at New York University Abu Dhabi, in what is one of the most international universities of the world.

I want to believe that I am a nice and outgoing person, despite the fact that I am a bit of a nerd sometimes. I love meeting new people and interacting with new cultures. This is why, travelling is for me my biggest passion.

I wrote a history book, worked in an embassy and then in an archeology camp (when I lived in a tent for a month).
I swam with sharks in the Philippines.

I love foreign languages, so I would love to practice with you some French, Spanish or Arabic. I can also say that I am a pretty good conversation partner, interested in a lot of subjects. I can also teach you how to play guitar.
