Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on CS because I want to connect more with the world and different cultures, and the best way, I believe, is by connecting with people. I'd love to share the knowledge I have to those coming to Chicago, and I'd love to learn more from those in different areas.

Interests

I love reading and writing. I enjoy exercising, practicing yoga, playing basketball, and running. I'll do anything that gets my heart pumping. I'm very much working on my spiritual practice of meditation and yoga. But I also love going for a beer lol. All around I'm just a chill guy that enjoys good vibes. And I’m gay 🙂

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: my iPod is probably 70% rap/hip hop, but I enjoy everything from R&B, rock, pop, house. Movies: Training Day, American Beauty, and Memoirs of a Geisha. Favorite poets are Walt Whitman and William Stafford. Favorite books are Dharma Bums, The Giver, and Illusions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Completed a 21 day silent meditation retreat in Thailand.
