About Me
Hi there everybody! I'm Raul, a guy from the sunny Valencia, Spain. I'm a graduated in Biology who loves to travel and meet new people every time that I can. I'm an easy-going, adaptable person who creates as little disturb as I can. Right now I'm working in Iceland as a whale watching guide, but this is the last of several sailing related jobs that made me travel far and wide through different seas. And the seas, as the people, change a lot from place to place (and I want to meet them all). If you want to hear stories about choppy seas, souls crossing the horizon to the next world (I leave this as a cliffhanger) and whales being magnificent as they are, we can have a nice and long talk. I live on sharing stories.
My tortilla skills are famous btw.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I like to travel for the sake of discovering, both people and places. Places are made by the people you meet, this we all know but we sometimes forget. And sharing paths is the best way to connect with people. I started doing this while travelling 2 years ago knocking doors that catch my attention (which I still do) but I guess through couchsurfing works too.

Capoeira music, 70/80 hard rock, music in my main language (catalan), songwritters, grunge, thrash metal, nu metal, cumbia.
A lot of different movies, this is quite a long thing to tell, but two favourite ones: mystic river and discovering neverland.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sailing in Iceland is pretty badass tbh, crossing Vale do Capao in Brazil (one of the most beautiful lamdscapes im the world), fitting 20 marshmallows in my mouth, listening to the sound of spermwhales hunting, dealing with some of my theachers from uni
What I Can Share with Hosts
All kinds of talks, nice environment, stories, tortillas and other dishes (I like cooking very much), some help in basic stuff (groceries, fixing things...). Mostly flowing with how the conection works but I'm really easy going and easy to be with.
