About Me
Hello future friends!!
My name is Rhevyn Clegg and I am so excited to join couchsurfing! I'm currently working in France as an English assistant and although my current living conditions are not necessarily conducive to hosting at the moment, you can always send a message requesting to stay with me in Orléans, France and we may be able to work something out.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A friend of mine introduced me to couchsurfing just recently and it seems like the best thing since sliced bread. I'm a relaxed person and the typical tourist agenda of running from place to see to see all the monuments and everything recommended on lonelyplanet does not appeal to me so much. Would does interest me is having the opportunity to stay with someone living in your destination and profiting from their knowledge of the most major things to see in the city, and their esoteric knowledge of the nooks and crannies that a city has to offer. It's almost like cheat tourism because that person gives you access to special restaurants, natural wonders, or other places that you can't necessarily know about from reading a blog.
Interests
I love good music, good food, and good company. I love to laugh and you will rarely catch me not smiling. I enjoy learning about the unique history of the places I visit. Meeting new people from different corners of the world is one of the things I believe is indispensable to personal growth. I love to talk to people and learn about them.
I also enjoy sports, plays, concerts, natural wonders, reading, cooking, baking, and shopping.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm just discovering the world of travel, but one of my greatest memories from studying abroad in Martinique is climbing Mt. Pelée, the highest point on the island. The view of the water and the tiny cities below was like a painting and it's an image I'll never forget.
