About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to extend my amazing circle of friends across the globe-we have so much love to share!

ABOUT ME

I'm the definition of spontaneous and I'm a firey character-an original wildchild!

I used to live on a boat, mainly on the Grand Union Canal.
I have a 9 year old daughter, Ivy, who stays with her Dad every now and again. I have a 4 year old son, River who stays with his Dad a lot of weekends. He's a long haired surf/skater hippy boy 💗

I'm a photographer, film maker, gaffer and visual artist and am studying a Photographic Arts degree. I love Art and all things visual and imaginative. At heart I guess I'm a pagan rock and surfer hippy chick but I don't subscribe to any neat boxes. I have a lot of tattoos and I've been blessed to have a lot of work done by the very talented Dan Marshall...

PHILOSOPHY

I believe we are creators of our own experience and are all both one and separate at the same time.
Life is for living and enjoying to the full and negativity gets you nowhere pretty damn fast!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a small couch surfing space to share, hopefully with artistic, musical or open minded creative folk! My space isn't always available as I'm often away and sometimes need rare time alone to rest to recoup from a hectic life.
I am very close to two wind tunnels for those interested in indoor skydiving, and close to the indoor snow slopes in Milton Keynes for the boarders and ski riders :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I CS'd in New York with George who was a perfect host and just spending time each day talking to him about different ways of life and different views on body health was great.
I worked with Bret in New York on some large format photography projects, we met through CS, we wandered the streets and the subways endlessly and talked about everything while we lost ourselves in the city and he took me to the local NYC CS meet which was wonderful.

Interests

Art. Photography. Film. Film making. Exploring, discovering and learning. I love bikes and all things faaaast, tattoo's, books and music drives every part of my life. I love all music, I love climbing, art, kiting, traveling, indoor skydiving, snow boarding, meeting and connecting with people and drinking champagne! Being outdoors is integral to who I am...

Music, Movies, and Books

Well, I love so much music it would be impossible to encapsulate all so I will throw out a few names I love, Mudvayne, Muse, Cat Stevens, Donovon, Sizzla, Tracey Chapman, Van Morrison, Coco Rosie, The Dandy Warhols and soooo much more!
The Pullman Trilogy was amazing, I really enjoyed Imagica by Clive Barker. I read Mind Body Spirit books as well as photography and art books.
Movies, again way too many to include so I'll list a few, The Dark Knight, Ichi the Killer, tartan asia extreme movies, Labyrinth, any Tim Burton movies, Hellboy 1 and 2, Pans Labyrinth, Snatch, Seven, The Lost Boys, Zoolander.....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Too many amazing things in life to name one.
Well, giving birth is the obvious choice here but to avoid the cliche answer trap I'll give a different answer!
Flying to NYC to get my first ever tattoo done was amazing and showed me that we really don't have to live within the confines of society at all!
Driving through the night on impulse to see the sun rise over the Atlantic ocean is amazing!
Exploring Milwaukee with strangers.
Surviving a brain injury and broken spine and going on to live my life despite ongoing symptoms has been a trip.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share some knowledge of photography, I can give some tutorials in photoshop too. I can share my library of music and look forward to benefiting from an exchange of musical tastes.
Quite a few of my friends and I are into alternative ways of thinking, meditation, positive thinking and looking at life a little differently so within our conversations there is always a lot to learn from ourselves and each other.
I can direct any CS'ers to the wind tunnel to experience indoor skydiving.
I can introduce CS'ers to the local music venues and, time and schedule allowing, take them out there.
