Hi, I am Ravi Lokhande, an introvert, who wish to travel the world. I cant explain in words the craze I have for traveling, Its more than just a hobby, its a passion that drives me beyond my imagination. The urge to explore new places, immerse myself in different cultures, and meet people from all walks of life is something I cant resist. I travel for only one reason that is adventure, Thats it, No deep philosophy, I just want to explore the world, and even I cant fully grasp my own obsession with it.

Beyond traveling, music and movies pretty much sum up my life. I also like experimenting in the kitchen (I can cook a little, whether it’s good or not it is up to you to decide!). I believe in collecting experiences, not things.

Lets share experiences, and maybe even a meal, if youre brave enough to try my hot spicy cooking!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Lets be honest, Im here to save money. Traveling isnt cheap, and my wallet agrees. But beyond that, I’m also here to meet new people, make friends (despite being an introvert), and experience places in the most authentic way possible. I believe the best adventures come with unexpected moments, like getting lost in a new city, trying food I havent heard name of it in my life.

Music, Movies, and Books

The same craze I have for is movies and music (so this is how I enjoy my BORING life other than travelling), no alcohol, no smoking and don't have many friends to hangout with, just the movies and music. It’s my escape, my entertainment, and something I can never get tired of, just a deep love for good films, great songs, and the experience they bring.

🎬 Movies and Series
My favorite is Hollywood, but I also love Bollywood, Marathi, and Spanish entertainment. In fact, I enjoy watching movies and series from all around the world. Some of my favorites are Interstellar, Lord of the Rings, Wall-E, yeh Jawani hai deewani, Fight Club, Dark, Money Heist, Game of Thrones, Frequency, Sairat, and Ved.

🎵 Music
I love listening to English, Marathi, Hindi, Punjabi, and Spanish songs. Some of my favorites are Gasolina, Despacito, Dolby Walya, Yes, And?, 7 Rings, Chandra, and Apsara. I also explore songs in other languages just for the music experience.

📚 Books
I haven’t read any books till now, too tired from all the academic reading. But I would love to start with self improvement books someday.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

• Camped under the stars alone, completely disconnected from the world.
• Went on a long road trip without a destination, just for the adventure.
• Rode a bicycle for 20 km just for the thrill

Teach, Learn, Share

• Teach: I can share insights about civil engineering, travel experiences, and cultural traditions from India. I can also help with basic Hindi, Marathi, English or Kannada if you're interested in learning new languages. And can also teach cooking
• Learn: I’m always eager to learn about different cultures, traditions, and languages. Currently, I’m learning Spanish and would love to practice with native speakers!
• Share: I can share my knowledge about places I’ve visited
